Friends of Southern Opera
Friends of Southern Opera (FOSO) is an audience based group of like minded individuals wishing to help sustain the professional opera company, Southern Opera.
Members support the parent production company through their subscriptions and by offering voluntary practical assistance in return for designated benefits.
Our Aim;
FOSO aims to provide an audience based membership of supporters for Southern Opera productions, by generating interest and enthusiasm in both performances and backstage activities.
FOSO will provide educational forums to deepen knowledge and appreciation of opera plus opportunities to learn more about the creative process and theatrical logistics.
Events will be organised where members have the opportunity to meet one another and key artists in a relaxed social environment.
Members of FOSO will be able to provide voluntary help and practical assistance to Southern Opera if required.
Funds generated through membership subscriptions and money-raising events will be used to support Southern Opera’s artists and productions.

- The pleasure of knowing that their support is assisting Southern Opera, local artists and theatre artisans
The annual subscription fee of $50 double or $30 single entitles the subscriber(s) to the above benefits over the 2009 operatic season.
